Top idol groups to appear on MBC’s “Come to Play”
This week on MBC’s “Come to Play“, a bevy of top idol groups will be featured for their New Year special!
Focusing on a theme of ‘filial acts’, the episode will spotlight SNSD, Super Junior’s Lee Teuk and Yesung, B2ST’s Ki Kwang and Yoseob, and MBLAQ’s Mir and Lee Joon.
During the “Star in Cover Story” segment of the show, SNSD was asked to choose one member that they would like to have as a daughter, and one member that they would not. Hyoyeon revealed, “Sunny uses a lot of aegyo when she talks to her mom. Just listening in on their conversation makes Sunny seem like such a lovely person.“ The SNSD members retorted, “Maybe her mom is actually her boyfriend,” and “Are you sure that’s her mom?”
When asked whether she had done anything wrong towards her parents, Sooyoung replied with tears in her eyes, “I’m very apologetic over the fact that I even chose this career path. My parents are very upset every time our names are associated to bad things. I chose this career because I wanted to, but it’s not the same for my parents.”
The male idol groups will also battle it out to find the perfect ’son-in-law’ for the filial daughters. The cast will be divided into eight different couples and will participate in a variety of quizzes to become the ‘best filial couple’ and win a grand prize.
This exciting episode will broadcast on January 3rd!

SNSD to fly on private plane between Japan and Korea for year-end festivals
SM Entertainment has booked SNSD a private plane in order to meet their year-end music schedules in Korea and Japan.
The group will be flying a special chartered flight on December 30th in order to travel to and from Japan, as they are scheduled to participate in both the TBS ‘Japan Record Awards’ and the KBS ‘2010 Music Festival‘, which will both be held on the same night.
“Because of the successful promotions and activities this year, SNSD were invited to the special music programs in both countries. In order to spend this meaningful time with all of their fans, we thought about travelling methods that would be of greatest safety, convenience, and speed for the members, and so have decided on booking a chartered flight,” revealed SM Entertainment.
The scheduled chartered flight will be a 13-seated business jet plane run by Excel Airways. The nine members of SNSD, as well as three managers/staff members, will be on board.
